He brings over 20 years of experience in insurance to his role, driving growth through strategic partnerships and commercial innovation. His deep industry knowledge is invaluable in tracking trends and identifying areas for change.
In his previous roles, Chris was the Managing Director at Marsh, leading their Affinity business and previously serving as the Sales Director for their SME Division in the UK. At Thistle Insurance, Chris was responsible for their Direct-to-Customer Niche Schemes and Direct business, which included overseeing the largest Caravan/Holiday Home Scheme in the UK. He was initially brought into Thistle to transform their claims proposition.
Now at Superscript, Chris is focused on transforming insurance with tech-driven solutions for the SME marketplace. His extensive touchpoints across the insurance landscape and keen eye for innovation help to steer Superscript’s growth and competitive edge in the industry.
Tori Butler, Managing Director - SME
Tori is the Managing Director of the SME business at Superscript.
Tori brings a wealth of experience in building propositions that better serve the evolving needs of small and medium-sized businesses, having previously held senior roles at Direct Line Group and NIG Commercial.
Now at Superscript, Tori works closely with insurers to deliver a market leading proposition to our customers across all trading verticals.
Stephen Taylor, Managing Director - Specialty
Stephen is the Managing Director of the Specialty and Advisory business at Superscript.
Stephen leads on executing Superscript’s commercial strategy, working closely with insurers to deliver a market leading proposition to our high-growth and complex businesses.
A Chartered Insurance Risk Manager with a degree in Business Administration, Stephen has over 20 years of experience within the insurance industry, including times working at RSA and spending 14 years at Allianz Insurance.
Martyn Hall, Underwriting Lead
Martyn is the Underwriting Lead at Superscript.
Martyn brings over 30 years experience managing insurance portfolios growing significant books of business with the likes of Axa, QBE and most recently as Head of Insurance at Admiral Pioneer.
Now at Superscript, Martyn works closely with our insurer partners to deliver great customer outcomes and consistent profitable growth using technical underwriting knowledge combined with financial and pricing modelling.
Derrick Smart, People and Talent Partner
Derrick is the People and Talent Partner at Superscript.
Derrick has nearly 20 years of recruitment experience in the insurance market, placing insurance professionals across all levels having previously held the role of associate director'
