International Federation of Esports Coaches

We’re passionate about new, exciting technologies and industries that are shaking up traditional sectors. Esports is by no means new, but its growth over recent years means it’s now seen and celebrated as a well established, global sport. According to Statista, the global esports market will generate $950 million in revenue in 2020 - and $1.6 billion by 2023. Celebrities and investors are all getting involved in various guises, to capitalise on the rapid growth. (Who didn’t see Guild Esports, repped by David Beckham, floating on the London stock market?!)

Up until now, insurance for the burgeoning esports sector has been highly specialised and limited. With the rapid growth in terms of revenue, reach and deal activity, the need for more comprehensive insurance and a better understanding of the risks of the sector is becoming clear. This is why we’re proud and excited to be partnering with The International Federation of Esports Coaches (IFoEC) to provide discounted rates to its members.

The IFoEC is the first global esports federation, launched with the aim of supporting the professional development of current and new esports coaches. IFoEC coaches and teams in the booming esports industry will be able to access discounted rates for professional indemnity and public liability insurance through Superscript.
